Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: Hard House

Here’s the next release on Whiplash, and a debut track from Lee Osborne. Lee has recently been enjoying a move up the ranks in the London Djing scene, with a monthly residency at Bedlam, and guest slots at nights such as Convergence, Smile and E-ratic. Not content with just that, it looks as if he’s now turning his hand to the production side of things too! For a debut track, it’s an impressive one, engineered by Alex Parsons, this is a groovy, techy Hard Houser. A nice sharp kick drum makes this awesome in the mix and is paired up with some cool techy percussion in the intro. The bassline is quite deep and subby and really compliments the other early elements of the track. As the track builds a dark hoover is introduced, with wicked cheeky little stabs being thrown all over the place! Now we’re really motoring along nicely as we enter the breakdown. A nice and sinister acidic noise is used to add to the tough, hard feel of the track, before the hoover is brought in fully. I think the riff is wicked, its really catchy and is easily recognisable on the dance floor. Next we have a nice build with swooshy sound effects and some cool filtering as we build to a savage Hard House crescendo! It all kicks off nicely with the full hoover riff looped bef ore the track enters the outro. This will be a firm favourite on the harder floors, and I certainly will be giving it a good caning! Nice one Lee, keep em coming mate! Thumbs up
