Another fresh and uplifting track from the Recover camp, Nick Riley & Andi Durrant make their debut appearance on the imprint to deliver ‘Candesco’ to the masses. The original mix features a light bassline and a full-bodied bass rhythm that has a rather progressive influence, with sliced synths that sweep in a sub-melody to compliment the main hook superbly. The break goes all out on a string melody, rising to peak before dropping back into the beat nicely. On the flip it’s all full-phat basslines, a driving underlay that pounds away whilst atmospheric percussion magnificently builds over the melody. A weird yet effective sample loop of a sound FX from (what sounds like) Mosters Inc (!?) makes up a very memorable element to the track, the kind of thing you wake up the next morning and find yourself humming! Wavestorm delivers a select remix once again for the hard dance floors.
