In Case you’re wondering what that means – it’s HAPPY NEW YEAR in RUSSIAN! And before you ask – the answer is NO – one of our New Year’s resolutions is not to take up Russian! We’re just getting into the Mode for our next guest at our first event of 2007! Please give a warm ELEK2RONIK Welcome to one of Russia’s finest exports, Mr ROMAN PUSHKIN! A Household name in Eastern Europe and fast becoming a big player on the West Side too! Resident at Zona Club – one of the Biggest Clubs in Europe but his fame broke boundaries and seemed unstoppable when his Remix of the The Clash’s Killer Track “Should I Stay or Should I go” was in every major Club’s Playlist last summer. It even hit the likes of Radio 1 on Judge Jules’s show and had support from the likes of Pete Tongue, Norman Cook, & we don’t really need to say any more cos you get the drift! It was Rocking! We know NYE is also just around the corner but we’ve already got the Hibbey Jibbees for January 12th when Roman will be tearing the system up at Inigo! If his latest Remix of Queen’s “Fat Bottom Girls” is anything to go by – the Moscow Dancefloor Records Head Honcho will undoubtedly have everyone jamming on the tables & chairs & even hanging from the ceiling if you’re into that sort of thing! 2 PhUnKeD uP presents ELEK2RONIK with ROMAN Pushkin! at Inigo Bar. That’s right – your Duo of Daftness will play Host & Hostess (Greg has asked santa for some new satin under garments) to a night filled with Elek2ronik Blissed ‘n Twisted Beats and some chassis shaking for good measure! 2006 was an AWESOME Year to say the least & we’re sad to see it go but 2007 is already on course to be BEEG VELLY BEEG and we think it’s a rather fitting way to Kick off 2007 in debauched style!
Warming things up with class will be the lovely Hanna Olsson. Hanna hails from, just around the corner & across the road, Sweden – and she made a name for herself with her residency at the stylish Ember Bar for Tuckshop. Her eclectic grooves will definitely create that Grand “First Impressions” feel for an awesome Night out!
We’ve also brought in the 5050 Crew to bring us that all important Step up to making us all Stomp our Feet and throw some Shapes! The 5050 Crew’s menu contains nothing but quality beats smattered with seamless mixing and having recently played sets at Turnmills – the South African Duo are definitely on course to making their mark on London’s Floor Rocking Hall of Fame!
As usual, it’s FREE before 10pm, £3 after so we’re really making it easy for you during the Mid-Jan Depression! The Vibe at Inigo Bar is the closest you’ll get to that house party atmosphere without actually being at a House! As before, everyone single one of our guests, i.e. YOU! will receive a FREE Shooter of your Choice, all you got to do is hit us back for some list action and we’ll make sure the Bar Sorts you out with a Free Shot either on Arrival or whenever you’re in the mood to suck one down!
