On Saturday 23rd October, we’re proud to announce the launch party of the mighty Missdemeanours here at Turnmills with their host and resident Lottie returning to her old stomping ground with a string of stunning guests!! This will be Missdemeanours’ first outing following their late night sessions at Neighbourhood and previously at the AKA… and we can’t wait to get started. Look out for more Missdemeanours events later on this year, before we kick off a bi-monthly residency for 2005.
The first lady of house, Lottie remains one of the world’s hottest properties, with her label Missdemeanours Records going from strength to strength. She’s also been throwing parties with Underwater at Pacha throughout the summer in Ibiza and when she’s not busy touring the globe, you can catch her on the airwaves for Radio 1. Turnmills regular and Missdemeanours resident Aaron Ross will be joining Lottie in the main room together with special guests Tim Deluxe, former RIP Groove man and now the “Little Ginger Club Kid” and the Jedi Knight, Tom Middleton. Tim has established himself as one of house music’s biggest stars over recent years with summer hits ‘Just Won’t Do’ and ‘Less Talk More Action’ (plus previous biggies, ‘Sirens/We All Love Sax’) talking the world by storm. He’s been residing in Ibiza this summer for Underwater and he follows up his recent live tour and debut album with a second long-player later this year. Tom meanwhile, will be bringing the sound of the cosmos to Turnmills on a more electronic tip!!
Flip over to Room 2 for the cool as muck, German tech-masters Tiefschwarz and production gods Bent who’ll be playing an exclusive DJ set following hot on the heels of their new album ‘Ariels’ and previous effort ‘Programmed To Love’, which set the boys on the road to stardom. Carl Cox fave Will Grant is also the warm up DJ of choice, with Music For Freaks Luke Soloman also starring.
And finally in the Cinema Lounge, we’ve drafted in the Brighton-based Catskills Records posse to host the room!! These guys are AMAZING, headlined by Black Grass whose self-titled debut LP mixes everything from hip-hip and drum & bass to lazy summer beats. Black Grass will be playing LIVE on the night and DJing too, alongside Helskinki’s production master Pepe Deluxe – another really cool cat, plus Catskills residents Johnny Reggae and Sonorous Star.
