First of all we’d like to thank all the clubbers and ravers, out there who’ve come down and supported the launch of the freshest Hard Dance night in the midlands. The last two months have been not only enjoyable for all those involved - the promoters, the DJ’s and more importantly you; the crowd, but have also made Darkness Calls the start of some thing special – WE SALUTE YOU!
If you’ve not yet had the chance to see what all the fuss is really about, get yourself down there on Saturday 8th May, and check it out!
Following the success, and evenly matched Battle night with Panic Attack, May see’s a true pair of the Midlands finest coming down to rock the show! Birmingham based duo Riggsy n Bazza B are taking to the helm with their own brand of energetic, driving hard house. In between DJing, producing their own tracks and running their studio they are the face of Tension Records, with release number three in the shops this month (April). If you’ve not head them play before, then you’re in for a treat… They’ve been causing a stir all over the show, wooing crowds at clubs like Fidget, Sundissential, Ignition and Afterssential, to name just a few, and these days are being booked up thick and fast, so we’re glad to have them on board.
Also coming to play we have Hard Boiled residents and crowd favourites Mike and Danny! Pushing hard trance to it’s limits, these guys will add to the diversity that is Darkness Calls. Many styles, but with the same goal – every set as if it was the last! Along side them is local up and comer Gurner, a strong set of DJs guaranteed to give you what you’ve come to expect from the crew at Darkness Calls.
Guiding the way we’ve got a DJ troupe that need no introduction – Residents Craig Main, Ash G are joined by regulars Stevie G and Hyper Vixen. For the last two months these have stood and delivered every single time, and if you’ve not been to Darkness Calls, then chances are you’ve seen them elsewhere, as they’re exploding onto the scene like Dynamite. With bookings between them all over the country, Stevie G has his FIRST release hitting the shops this month – a track with Simon Vegas, Riggsy and Bazza B, aptly named Unleash The Fury!
