B3 a new Monthly every second Thursday at the White Horse Hoxton.
ISM Records Electric Boogie brings you B3, A monthly night of genre jumping music with DJ’s Electric Boogie and The Wook ,these two have been spinning eclectic sets back to back for several years, their musical tastes ranging from hip hop , house, funk and boogie always have one element that ties the it together the music has Soul and feeling. They are joined by Amazing Mike Franklin the record guru who defies genres with his eclectic taste in rare recordings.
B3 will take place in Hoxtons most loved and cosy new venue The White Horse to take you on a monthly musical journey from dreamy laid back grooves right through to booty shaking beats from its residents with secret guest DJ’s and producers with a similar musical ethos popping in to spin every now and then.
About the Resident and host Electric Boogie
Electric Boogie is the Co runner of ISM and Midnight Riot records and has been spinning House, Disco, Funk, jazz, and Boogie since the early 90’s, also the live Engineer and resident DJ for Legendary NYC disco band Odyssey, his love of music has seen him spin records and perform live around the world from the sun-drenched outdoor beach festivals of the Adriatic to the gritty basement parties of London’s Soho and East End. Aside from DJing and performing with Odyssey he can be found at the ISM studio remixing and producing alongside studio and label partner Andy William’s (Yam Who?) under various Pseudonyms and working as the in house label mastering engineer where his love of analogue studio equipment works its magic on both his labels releases.
