For 3 years Together has remained synonymous with late night hedonism… a unified love of all things eclectic and a united feeling between like-minded dancefloor souls. Back in February we threw caution to the wind by hosting our first non-NYE Together event at Turnmills. The result as they say on the Arsenal terrace, was 3 points in the bag…
On Saturday 26th June, Together is back for a “Who needs Glastonbury special”. Traditionally a day of mud, sweat and tears, we invite you to an indoor festival of our own. And in true Turnmills tradition, we have brought Together a line-up to die for… again. From Mad-chester’s Hacienda massive, to the deep, dark, electro underworld of Dave, Jon and Justin - 3 of the most renowned acid house pioneers to date. To chill things out a bit in the middle of all this madness, we have a ‘Good Times’ Carnival warm up from Norman Jay MBE (Thank you Sir!) and we invite Icelandic rebels Gus Gus down for a one-off special DJ set alongside the Inland Knights. See you down the front!!
Room 1
Take a ‘trip’ deep into the underground with Dave Clarke as he rolls out the electro, punk beats. Together resident and acid house pioneer Justin Robertson returns for some more sexy, eclectic basement bashing, alongside Saville Row’s Jon Carter and Dave Chambers, who’ll be twisting things up on the dirty, jackin’ house tip.
Room 2
The backroom’s all about the ‘party’ as Norman Jay MBE serenades us with another unforgettable Good Times set. Notting Hill this ain’t, but a Carnival is exactly what you’re gonna get with Norman and his feel-good summer grooves. Icelandic superstars Gus Gus will also be getting you hot in the mix, whilst the Inland Knights go deep like the Titanic early on.
Room 3
Think of the biggest indie/rock stars of our lifetime – and they’re here! Get Loaded (the new monthly Thursday night mash-up at Turnmills!) proudly presents a bit of a Happy Mondays reunion featuring none other than Shaun Ryder and Bez. Messy isn’t the word as these two cult heroes take the dex and the mic. The Madchester connection doesn’t just stop there though, as Primal Scream’s Mani reignites the Hacienda vibe of old, with a set to take you way back in the day to where it first began!
