With THE GALLERY’S humungous New Year’s Eve party taking place only a few days after this little soiree (south of the river at the Carling Brixton Academy), we thought it was only fair to A) throw another party - well it is Friday after all, and B) make it a FREE MEMBERS PARTY, cos we know everyone will be skint at this time of year!!
So there you have it then. On FRIDAY 29TH DECEMBER, get out your GALLERY MEMBERSHIP CARDS and head on over to EC1 for a feel-good-FREE-night out on us. As ever, the line-up hasn’t suffered as a result, as we invite the Dutch destroyer MARCO V to smash it up for 3 full hours behind the decks. Last time Marco played Turnmills he played three 2 hour sets in 3 different rooms one after the over, culminating in a show-stopping DVDJ visual show in the main room (he dj’d behind a white screen of visuals). That night was a real landmark in terms of a DJ showing his true worth; someone who is versatile enough to play 3 different sets in one night – each one a stormer too! The Gallery faithful came out in their masses that night, so expect a similar turn out this week – especially with the added bonus of FREE ENTRY for those Members amongst you. Also starring in the main room this week will be a man who has lived and breathed The Gallery for around 7 years. GAVYN MYTCHEL is one of the most popular DJs to have ever graced the decks at Turnmills and sure enough the loyal members will all be egging him as normal!! He’s been hosting THE GALLERY RADIO SHOW on MOS RADIO and now SKY DIGITAL for the last few years and in 2006 he’s jetted off to such exotic locations as Egypt, LA and China... lucky git!! Check out his website: www.gavynmytchel.com to find out his latest maneuvers and release schedule. Backing the boys up will be VACCINE residents - THE VICEROY and BEN BEATON. Vaccine has been a total revelation at The Gallery this year making T3 their home once a month. They’ve brought us a string of exclusive UK sets from some of the trance scene’s most exciting underground stars and in the process have become hugely popular DJs in their own right. Completing this week’s line-up in T2 will be SOLID KISS, the brainchild of Gallery regular MONI. The Viking Princess, as we like to call her will be laying some her dark, tribal drums alongside very special guest REBEKAH, plus PETE RYPSTRA and SEAN K FYRBEAT. Get involved.
