July kicks off the summer months with one action packed month here at Turnmills Base Camp. With three rooms packed full of international talent, rising stars and the best music around you’d be forgiven for thinking we had a dose of sun stroke with our first July outing for the Friday nocturnal revellers. No it is true we’ve crammed three huge line-ups into Clerkenwell Road and it looks set to be a right old knees up to kick start the month. Main room sees main man around London town Mr Tall Paul touch down for another monthly session in the main room. Paul truly is The Gallery, always pushing the very best upfront music at The Gallery it is a chance to come and see one of the scenes longest lasting music purist share his music collection in the comfort of his own club!!! Joining him will be another familiar Gallery face and huge favourite Dave Seaman. With his Audiotherapy label rocking the proverbials out of every progressive club worldwide, Dave has been extensively touring taking in such sights and smells as far apart as Glastonbury to Tokyo!! Look out for their new compilation forthcoming on Audiotherapy.
Dutch maestro Matthew Dekay wowed The Gallery back in February with his unique brand main room music. Whilst many pretend to be cutting edge and genre defining djs, it is not until you witness someone of Dekay’s class and quality that you realise what it is to have your own style. Refusing to be pigeon holed his sets wow trance fans at the like of Armada in Ibiza alongside Armin van Buuren and die hard prog fans at the likes of the WMC alongside Hernan Cattaneo alike. Truly one to be heard Matthew will be perfect to notch it up a tad just when it is needed. Making his Gallery main room debut but no stranger to The Gallery having performed several Live sets as part of production duo Kuffdam and Plant, Kuffdam stops by to showcase his far ranging and intelligent take on trance from the prog through to the psy. Having won global recognition as one half of Kuffdam and Plant, producers of arguably some of the biggest trance records of recent time and signed to world number one DJ Paul van Dyk’s Vandit imprint Kuffdam will be showcasing a whole load of new material. Gallery resident and by now sun bronzed Gavyn Mytchel who has been holding the fort at Gallery’s mid week Ibiza legends party comes home for a good old 6 am finale in only the way he can. Early doors warm up comes courtesy of the BDK
Curfew Time is back with avengance in its cosy home of T2…..
Prehab returns with another UK exclusive and rising talent line-up featuring one of the main men behind all things Punchfunk. Danny Graham. The label is a main stayer for the likes of Kanyzani, Van Dyk, Prydz, Cattaneo and John Digweed. Joining him will be fellow headliner Vortechtral. One of the rising stars of the techno scene at the moment and the man behind the brilliant ‘Techment`label. His tunes are played by the A-Z of the techno world, including the likes of Marco Bailey, DJ Preach, Olivier Giacomotto and Cave. Resident Dave Murtagh gets in on the action along with rising local boys done good Kid Circus, Jordan Suckley, Steve Kwiatkowski and Tee One
