System v4.0 - Break Your Resolution!
Send an eFlyer for this event to a friend Include this Event in a Private Message Direct link to this Event
On: Saturday 12th January 2008
At: Fluid [map]

From: 9pm - 4am
Cost: £3 before 10pm. £5 after.
More: This will most probably be your first outing since the carnage of New Year's Eve so we have laid on a spread of diverse grooves to stir you up and ease you into 2008!

In the bar Hefty will be flipping tracks as eclectic as Old-Skool Hip-Hop to Acid House, as long as it's hefty, it's Hefty!

Warren Crawford finally graces the turntables at System, and he's a man of experience. The northern star with a record collection to make any aspiring DJ weep, Warren will showcase cutting edge, sexy house music blended alongside the odd classic for good measure!

No stranger to Fluid after a number of sets for us over the last 18 months, Sebastién Pautrot infuses his tough house and electro with a dash of Gallic style.

In the main room, System resident Danny Stamp will be taking you on a creative journey, Ableton style, adapting the skills he has put to good use playing in the bar these last few months and showing us why he is in demand across London.

Matty Burnett returns serving it up dark and disturbing. His evil inflected tech and electro will ensure you will be talking about his late night set long after closing time.

Warming up the main room will be young Davor Kai, a genre non-specific, up and coming DJ with the task of setting the scene for the evening. Keep an eye on this promising spinner!

Another return is System's favourite DJ Dave Suave, who blew us away with his immense technical skill and selection of house & breaks back in May. This multi-talented veteran will be showing us all how it's done.

With sets from Residents Stakker and Tyrone this event looks to be the perfect way to REALLY start 2008!

See you there!
