Tweak&Bleep Vs Punchfunk
Its a bank holiday and what a way to kick off the proceedings! After the roadblock that was Annie Nightingale last month we are happy to join forces with Punchfunk as two of the most forward thinking and well respected brands join forces together on the 4th of May for what should be a night to remember!
For those of you that don’t already know, Punchfunk have been making serious waves in the dance music scene for the last 4 years. Having started as a night in Portsmouth they have now expanded to world domination! With a variety of very successful club nights, a record label and a host of talented dj’s, Punchfunk really are one of the most inovative and dynamic brands in the business.
Djing on the night we are very happy to welcome Chris Vaux. Chris is head honcho of Punchfunk and he is also one of the resident djs. Also a dab hand at the old production side of things, Chris is responsible for massive tunes such as The Thug – The Ho. On the downside Chris is a Portsmouth fan but hey you can’t have it all.
Also flying the Punchfunk flag will be Bournemouth based Russell Sanger. Russell may not be a household name to many but he is one of the most underated and consistant djs around. Russell’s set is definitely one not to be missed. In the good words of Russell himself: “Up the Cherries”
Representing the Tweak&Bleep side of it is of course the Tweak&Bleep dj’s. Having been ripping up dancefloors all over the country for the last year Tweak&Bleep firmly believe there is no place like home and will once again be rocking the medicine bar with their energetic blend of dirty house and stomping breakbeat. Pretty Ben is on warm up duties!
Upstairs in the bar we are happy to welcome the much fabled Retro Hag. This lizard tongued beat monkey will be gracing us with his blend of old skool anthems and speed garage slammers! Defo not one to be missed. Joining Hag in the bar will be rising star Hefty. Hefty by name, Hefty by nature! this will be a mash up of sounds that will really keep the beats rocking! On warm up duty we have our new resident Joe Duhig!
So we look forward to seeing you all for what will be another night of Tweak&Bleep mayhem!
