Well October’s 1st Birthday Halloween Special was fantastic – thanks to all the DJs, crew and clubbers who made it so special. With lovely witches Cally Gage & Frisky playing spellbinding sets, dark lords Tom Basquil & Steve Maynard bringing the grot, and more treats than tricks it was certainly one to remember.
Fresh (well, almost) off the back of the birthday, we’re bringing you our Christmas Celebrations. And it looks set to be even better!
It’s not often you get BK and Andy Farley for free, but Santa was feeling very generous this year and he came early to the HDS office. BK will be playing a merry mix of past & present classics, while Mr Farley will bring a dose of festive filth to our Christmas party.
The 2 legends will be supported by a couple of cheeky elves – Pickup & Rise, as well as the usual HDS suspects Elvis and Kevsey D. Rhyd B is back, and we get in the Christmas spirit to welcome Ben Townsend for his HDS debut.
MoreOnTheDoor are back after the success of their last 2 adventures in HDS territory, to bring you some jolliness in the shape their Little Helpers – featuring Special Guest Scott Fo-Shaw, Wain Johnstone & April, plus a few more reindeer.
There’s festive prizes on the night for the best girl’s outfit and the best boy’s outfit. So dust off your Santa sack, get your reindeer antlers ready, bring your own baubles and get your fairy wings out of the loft – it’s time to get festive!
And no HDS would be complete without the goody bags – including sweets & free CDs. If you’re skint you could even use these as top-notch Christmas presents for your Gran!
Plus, don’t forget; any budding hard dance DJs should come along on the night & submit their demos for the chance to play at the next HDS in January! You could be playing for Frantic in the new year, so make sure you drop your demo off at the front desk at December’s HDS.
We’ve also made a few changes to Hidden; we’ve got new DJ booths, better sound & generally made the place look a bit prettier and altogether more comfortable, just in time for Christmas!
So there you have it – all you need for a very merry Christmas, except a Christmas Pudding.
