Defected seem to be popping up everywhere. This small inde are on a roll with recent events in major cities across the UK including Leeds, Liverpool and Glasgow, as well as a sell out event at Cielo in New York (with queues literally around the block). It doesn’t stop there Defected continue with their international residencies in Spain, Ibiza and Switzerland, me thinks things are clearly going on.
It has been decided it was time for us to have a presence in the heart of world clubbing – London. Defected In the House will return to the Ministry of Sound with four parties scheduled in 2007 with the first on May 5th.For the house historians amongst you, Defected first emerged as a young pup from the dark and loud room of the Ministry in 2001 and continued their long residency until Dec 2004.
It’s been a while since the last residency which happened at Pacha London where the some absolutely legendary DJ talent played until Dec 2005. A long break of almost a year followed and was broken by our October 2006 extravaganza that attracted over 3000 clubbers to London’s now notorious Canvas. This event clearly showed that there was a big demand for quality house music in the Capital.

As ever dance music has evolved and changed and so too have the Defected headlining DJ’s. You can expect an array of international super jock talent including Junior Jack and Kid Crème bringing with them the power of their massive following in Europe. Dennis Ferrer, who is widely regarded as New York’s most innovative new producer, will enjoy a debut with us at the Ministry. This is also the first time for Italy’s Pasta Boys to perform with their tougher electronic sound. Simon Dunmore, copyright and Shovel complete this massive line-up.
