After an extended hiatus Wolfstock returns for its next installment to kick off a series of parties we have planned throughout the year. Up next we head to cargo in shoreditch for what is sure to be a cracking party!
Audiojack are the Leeds (UK) based DJs, producers and label owners making big waves in recent years with original productions and remixes for labels such as 20:20 Vision, Leftroom, Get Physical, Diynamic and their own rapidly expanding Gruuv imprint.
Whilst it was their robotic techno sound that filled the dance floors in their early years launching them onto the international stage it is their current deeper and housier style which has thrust them back into the spotlight, reaffirming their ability to produce groovy underground music across the genres whilst maintaining their own strong signature sound.
As DJs Audiojack have toured in over 50 countries taking in some of the world’s best venues and events: Space (Ibiza), Fabric (London), Watergate (Berlin), D-Edge (Sao Paulo), Ageha (Tokyo), Circo Loco (Sydney), Avalon (Los Angeles), Sankey’s (Manchester), Fabrik (Madrid), Zouk (Singapore) Basics (Leeds) to name just a few. Festival appearances have included the massive Fuji Rock Festival in Japan and the Chemical Music Festival in Rio de Janeiro.
Deepgroove (Cocoon, MBF LTD, Four:Twenty, Veryverywrongindeed)
After releasing for some of the most influential labels in the world (Cocoon, Rekids, Playhouse’s Klang Electronik, Harthouse, Veryverywrongindeed) Deepgroove have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with amongst the legion of global tech and house devotees.
Unstoppable tracks such as ‘Turbo’ for Cocoon Recordings have supplied suitably heavy ammunition for DJ’s like Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier and Dubfire to tackle their largest festival sets, whilst deeper material like ‘The Clock’ (for Rekids; with it’s subterranean Ben Klock Remix) provide incendiary underground grooves to fire up sweatbox after hours and sleazy night spots the world over.
The patronage of some of the worlds most respected flag bearers has led to bookings and a rapidly growing live show which has recently showcased for amongst others We Love…Space, Bugged Out and Fabric.
In 2011 and after an Ibizian season and many outings to DC10, their sound has mellowed somewhat, taking in deep house as well as the jacking beats and basslines of The Terrace. This has been cemented with further singles for Germany’s MBF LTD, Andre Crom’s OFF Recordings, Tim Sheridan’s VeryVeryWrongIndeed, Audiojack’s tech-house stronghold, Gruuv (with Martin Dawson and Huxley Remixes), Underwater (with brand new Hermanez Remix), Suara and the UK’s prolific Four:Twenty Recordings alongside stable mates Loco Dice, Andomat 3000, M A N I K and Solomun coming soon with Glimpse and Ruthit Remixes.
“With a 100% party attitude and a keen ear for exactly the right tune to devastate the dancefloor, Deepgroove consistently smash it.” DJ Magazine
